The Outs | State of the Union

I know that I’ve been on the outs lately,  but I’ve been busy. With moving to a new place, working at a new place, hanging with friends, family and to be honest,.. I’ve been lazy about sharing online. Anyways,  I recently discovered this well done web-series called “The Outs“. The writing, production and the acting is so T!

Here is the first episode. Enjoy!

Update: since we hit $20,000 on our Kickstarter campaign, we’ll be making a special seventh episode: The Outs Chanukah Special!

All six episodes of the show have been crowd-funded through two successful Kickstarter campaigns (here and here) – this means that regular humans saw the show and liked it enough to help us make more of it! If you’d like to contribute to the show but you missed our campaigns, no problem: click here! (And thanks!)

The Outs is written, produced, and edited in Brooklyn, NY.

The Outs relies as much as possible on local businesses and almost entirely on local artists: we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with excellent musicians Beauty Feast, Akudama, Strange Shapes, Ava Luna, Richard Vagnino, Spencerworld and Chris Rubeo – and the list is growing.

The Outs is always looking for talented folks to help make the show happen – e-mail watchtheouts@gmail.com if you’d like to join us on set, recommend a band, offer feedback, or talk about the future of the project.

For information on the music used in the show, check here.

The best way to keep up with the show is by following us on Facebook.

P.S. A special thank you to all who have continued to keep me in your thoughts and have been connecting with me over my online/podcast/blogging hiatus and procrastination (: Also, Thumbs up for Obama’s re-election :)

We were at the National Equality March in Washington DC, on October 11, 2009.

Thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender rights supporters marched Sunday from the White House to the Capitol, demanding equal protection for LGBT people in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states.
