Vigils were held all over the nation and world on Friday, April 25, 2008 in memory of Lawrence King together with the Day of Silence. A day to remember the voices that have been lost due to violence and harassment directed at lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

“15-year-old Lawrence King was murdered at school on February 12, 2008. Friends say the reason was his sexual orientation and gender expression. Make sure Lawrence is not forgotten.”

Good point. Harassment is not a reason for murder.
